From my personal opinion, in a relationship we have to somehow respect one another. Because with respect, it somehow sets a limit on how far you treat each other. You may be joking with the other party using harsh words or watsoever but with respect you will know eventually until which stage your suppose to stop because there's always a limit and you can't possibly take things for granted.

Even if you accidentally, when over the limit. I'll bet you will feel awkward and somehow need to apologise to the other party because you might tink you've hurt them. And yes, people do get hurt but they simply won't show it.

So don't take people for granted.

Even if its just your friends. =)

Besides that, we have to trust each other. I don't understand why some people lie to someone whom they love? I thought ur suppose to trust and be honest to them. Who the hell would want a relationship full of lies and falsehood. Smacks to them who dun mind having this kind of relationship. Crazee!

Patience plays a part too! If ur' patient with the other party, it simply means that you wouldn't want to give up on them because they are somehow special to you. Just by being there for them when they really need you is really wonderful. I'm not just talkin abt relationship but also friendship here. So even as friends, it simpy means alot to us to just have close friends when we really need them.

Give & take! Being able to Compromise! Like they say 'It takes 2 hands to clap'. Samee laaa lk dat. You don't expect only one party to make the initiative and depending on one party to say sorry or watsoever. Relationship is about being connected with 2 people or more eh? haha. See, d point is ur not alone in a relationship. Sooo, watever things that happen u guys have to learn to give and take. so that things will be fair for both parties and not adding to more quarrels or anything similar to that. Sooo, put aside that ego of yours and think deep deeeeep whether you want the relationship to carry on or just stop there all because of your stoopid ego and stubbornness.

To cut this short eh...

Lastly, like your partner for what he/she is. Like the person inside of them, what they are made of, their personality and the real them. Don't ever try to change them or compare them with others. Trying to help them change into a better person is awesomely good. But trying to change them to just suit your needs is bullshitte.

I personally think that everyone is unique in their own ways. They have their own speciality and talent in them. You've yet to found out that in them. Once you know about it, I'll bet you'll be suprised of what she/he can really do.

And one more thing, people are not perfect. I'm not perfect and so are you! There's always faults. You have to just learn to accept them for who they are or you can guide them to whats right and wrong for them to be a better person in future. =)
