When I went to see the doctor, she said that I've got some viral infection and her record shows that I had migraine before this. After 2 days lying motionless at home, I decided to do some research. So there I search about the types of migraine. And wah-laaaa! I think I know what I'm suffering from. It's the comeback of the migraine but its a different type!
CIS BEDEBAH!

Tension-type headaches and migraine headache are 2 of the most common types of headaches.

Possible causes of these types of headaches include:
*Muscle tension
*Changes in serotonin levels in the brain
*Changes in blood flow (vascular changes) in the brain
*Nerve problems

About 80% of people with migraine headaches have a family history of migraines, which suggests that migraines have a genetic basis. (PUAN KHAIRIYAH BINTE ABU USED TO HAVE IT! hMPH!)

[Headache triggers]

The most common tension-type headache triggers are physical and emotional stress. Migraine headache triggers differ from person to person. Migraines are often related to periods of stress and hormonal changes during a woman's menstrual cycle.
Other migraine triggers may include:
*Foods
*Lifestyle factors
*Medications
*Hormonal factors
*Environmental factors

[Tension-type headache]

1. Steady, aching headache that slowly gets worse. It is usually associated with a feeling of fullness, tightness, or pressure. Some people claim that it feels as if their head is being squeezed in a vise or that there is a tight band around the head. The pain may vary throughout the day. [THIS IS WHAT I EXPERIENCED!]

2. The pain usually occurs on both sides of the head, including the neck and temple area. In rare episodes it may be on one side of the head or in one small, well-defined area of the head. [TRUE ENUFF!]

3. The headache may last from 1 hour to all day or may be present for many days. It often starts soon after a person gets up in the morning, but it usually does not wake the person up or disturb sleep. [BETUL BETUL!]

Other symptoms that may occur with tension-type headaches include:
Soreness or tenderness of the scalp Pain, stiffness, or tightness in the neck, upper back, or shoulder muscles

Fatigue, tiredness, dizziness

Sensitivity to light or sound. This is more typical of migraine headache and is usually milder in a person with a tension-type headache.

Nausea or loss of appetite if the headache is severe. Vomiting is rare in tension-type headaches and more commonly related to migraine headaches. Vomiting may be more likely if a person has a mixed tension-type and migraine headache.

Those symptoms that are bold are the ones that I'm experiencing. In conclusion, I think I'm suffering from a mixture of tension-type and migraine headache.

Whao! This reminds me of RP. The researching, copying, pasting and presenting 'strategy'.

Geeeeeez!
